Demolition of Fukushima Unit 4 Visible on the TBS-JNN Webcam

TBS-JNN Webcam

Tepco Webcam

The story is being covered by Fukushima Diary

I'm sure the video captured of the event will be posted tomorrow on youtube. I'll post the link when I see it.

I would like to remind readers of the criticality event that Nuckelchen captured and posted:
The early morning hours from 24.06.2012

The demolition was awesome. The crane seemed to be eating the pillars of building #4.

Huge plumes of dust were emitted.

Sometimes there were massive sparks of light. Someone at Enenews suggested that a plasma blade was being used (or something like that).

The rapid speed of the demolition was shocking.

However, after watching the demolition for a couple of hours I noticed that the ocean breaks were not occurring “normally.”

The ocean movement seemed accelerated (I lived near the beach in college and grew up swimming in the ocean).

When people started moving around when the demolition stopped, their activity seemed extraordinarily rapid, just like the demolition.

I don’t think this is a live event.

I think it was taped before hand–maybe yesterday–and we are now watching the taped version, slightly fast-forwarded.

If I am correct, then this is a grand photo op for Tepco.

I learned one thing for sure and that is that the Tepco webcam is PURE FABRICATION during the day. There was no correspondence at all between the images. I've saved lots of screen captures to prove it.

There is no way that type of activity could occur and not be visible on the Tepco cam (yesterday, today, the day before, or ever).

The cranes (probably) and huge clouds of dust (certainly) would be visible from miles away.

And that cloud is the tragic thing about this demolition.

Remember that alarmingly high radiation spike that occurred yesterday in Japan?

You can read about the spike at Bobby's blog:

Enormous radiation spike in Fukushima prefecture.
"A huge radiation spike of 20,557 uSv/hr occurred today at a high school in Fukushima prefecture, east of Koriyama…."

THIS DEMOLITION could have been the cause.

The footage from this demolition event could have been taken yesterday (or before) and played today.

The alarmingly high radiation spike in Fukushima yesterday could have been from the dust!

(Or it could have been from the criticality)

In both cases, the public could have been warned in Fukushima. Why didn't they warn people to stay inside???????????

So, the possibility that neither cam is "real," raises questions about when the events that we do see were filmed?

When did the criticality occur? Did it occur before or after the demolition of unit 4's upper structures?

What a miserable and deadly labrynth.

Those in Hawaii and on the Pacific west coast had better prepare for fallout from that billowing radioactive concrete dust.

Those in Japan downwind of Fukushima should consider sheltering.

  1. your gut feeling is right Majia - it's not exactly staged, but it is a diversion .

I believe the purpose of all the "experts" in Japan talking about how dangerous the #4 SFP is - is not because it's really more dangerous - it's a PR move. It's a "snipe hunt" just like the radioactive water was a year ago distract the people, and the media's attention to something they can make visible progress on and eventually claim victory on.

It's probably a ploy to get the parliament or whatever their governing body is to approve cash to finance a next phase of activity.

You can't keep all those "experts" virtually silent about what's going on at #3 for a year and then all the sudden they crawl out of the woodwork and talk about #4.

And second, it's a scheme to keep people focused on #4, rather than 3. In my mind, #3 is still 100X as dangerous - they cannot get close enough to #3 to work on it - and they may not be able to for years.

But they can obviously get very close to #4. I saw the pictures of the structure they built under #4 SFP - it is very strong., very well engineered.

  2. James!! My heart leaps.

As on many occasions, last night I was thinking, "We need James2, where the hell is is he?" :)

All kinds of ugly left in/below R3.

Also, where has our little dog gone? Is some corium now out by the ocean?

    1. Hey NoNukes.

I'm still around, but not posting on Enenews.

I think the Admin there got tired of me claiming that Arnie was working for the nuke industry and deleted a couple of my posts.

I had always said that when they didn't want my opinion anymore I would leave, so I did. I tried to log back in once, but it seemed he/she might have actually banned me - either that or I lost my password.

I was intentionally abrasive at times to try and sniff out the nuke industry PR folks and the spooks - both of which inhabit there - and I guess a lot didn't like that, which is OK.

I was spending too much time and energy on it anyway. We all know what happened now. We know how dishonest the reporting has been; we know how dangerous it is; and at this point you can assume that no matter how bad it gets, it's not going to be reported.

When this disaster happened, I couldn't fathom that what we know has transpired would, but it has. It's nothing short of a failure of the human race, in my opinion. I was not aware that people - especially the governments - could be that dishonest; ruthless even.

I applaud all of you trying to get the word out. I come by and take a look every few days, but not every day now. Interestingly, I felt camraderie with several of the people . I believe the core group has been successful in calling out several of the most egregious issues accurately.

I thought my contributions to the group had been diminishing - like I was looking through narrrower and more distorted lens every day. Plus, a few times I let my anger get in the way of the dialogue. So it was time for me to move on to another way of dealing with it. Perhaps we will have a chance to work together again someday.
      Good Luck

  3. James - I too am glad to see you here. Your efforts and insights were/are so deeply appreciated. Please continue to post your observations. Our island of reason is so very lonely. Huge thanks to Majia as well for being on the right side of history.

each time-capture there after it just gets worse… and the counters prevent it registering as even being viewed ONCE… this is deliberate attempt to keep this from going viral!

the last time I saw a vid that was that "white Hot" was when they attempted to view reactor core 5 post-quake when it had a semi-start criticality… and the heat wouldn't let them put the lid back on it… it wouldn't fit. The cam did a white-out like that when pointed at the core. Just what it takes to make an ENTIRE BUILDING glow like THAT!?!?!
