"Low-level radioactive water leaks at Tokai nuclear plant"

The Mainichi Daily News

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- [excerpted] "Some 1.5 tons of low-level radioactive water leaked from a storage tank of a nuclear reactor in the process of decommissioning at Japan Atomic Power Co.'s plant in the village of Tokai, Ibaraki Prefecture, the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said Monday..."

Majia here: The article states that the water was used to "decontaminate" radiation protection suits, as well as other objects.

One has to wonder what is really going on here, especially given rising radiation levels in Japan.

Are the recent earthquakes creating problems?

How long can the truth of what is happening in Japan be hidden?
