I just returned from a fantastic conference on RADIATION ECOLOGIES and the humanities.
I'll post more about the conference when I have a bit more time.
Right now I just want to note that clear emissions can be seen from the area of unit 3 on TEPCO webcam 1. It is not raining, as evident from the dry ground visible in the screenshot of the Futaba cam view (second screenshot):
Netc is showing quite a few elevated monitoring sites in the US. I've not tracked readings for the last 4 days because I had no access so I don't know if this is following a sudden spike that I missed within the last 4 days:
Radiation levels in Japan were somewhat elevated last week (see my March 12 post) when I left for the conference.
