Fukushima Daiichi Today

It doesn't look very healthy on webcam

I read a tweet stating that TEPCO had decided to stop efforts to remove the highly radioactive vent stack after workers were ill. There is no confirmation of this tweet content that I can find using Google as my search, although I can find the original Manichi article from a week ago describing plans to take down the stack:
The Mainichi (2019, August 2). TEPCO begins demolition work on Fukushima nuke plant exhaust stack
TEPCO) launched demolition work on Aug. 1 to remove the upper half of the about 120-meter-tall exhaust stack for the No. 1 and 2 reactors at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

COULD efforts to remove the exhaust stack have resulted in the worsening of visible conditions or is it all an effect of naturally-occurring and allegedly radionuclide free "fog"?

TWEETS
What is the status of TEPCO's Fukushima Daiichi vent stack which has been reported to be visibly emitting radiation this past week? - are you monitoring? do you have data that could be used to inform the public for safety reasons? #law

  1. I do not believe, for a minute that Chernobyl was worse than Fukushima. Perhaps if one comparwd the large amount of radionuclide falout that went over populated area in eiurope from Chernobyl. Thwre is so much cover-up of Fukushima. The sheeer amount and volume of radionuclide materials, released by the three reactors blowing up at fukushima and fuel fires, easily dwarfs chernobyl.

We only have anecdotes like this, insicating the impossibility of cleaning up corium and used detritius to roughly guage the severity of Fukushima
Thwre will be a renewed interest in initial and ongoing fukushima severity, when a reactor or two blows up here in the next few years in america. The reactors will blow as a result of this administration's, extremely reckless-irrational behavior.
