A Meaningful Chart

A chart that may mean something:

A year ago I spoke to someone who specialized in atmospheric physics about an analysis of Oregon's background radiation.

The analysis of EPA radnet data by Bobby1 concluded that there was a statistically significant increase in background radiation in Oregon as a result of Fukushima.

The physicist who I confered with explained that Oregon has low background radiation naturally and an atmosphere that tends to "scrub" out radiatioactive dust because of the marine layer and high precipitation.

The physicist stated that an increase in "background" radiation in Oregon was a significant indicator of some sort of radiation release (in this case Fukushima).

It looks as if Oregon is continuing to have higher than usual "background" levels.
