Trump is resolute about Uranium Mining in the Grand Canyon and Bears Ears National Monument. Trump is committed to not closing old reactors. Trump is committed to building more reactors. Tillerson is good buddies with the Russians. As long as he and his oil buddies are making money there, they do not care what the Russians do.
ReplyDeleteObama had stopped the Savannah River Mox project in South Carolina before Trump was elected.
Trump did not stop the hugely dangerous and expensive Mox- production facility in South Carolina because, he cares about nuclear.
Trump, his republican and corporate swamp creatures, know they can get plenty of Mox from their Russian buddies. They know they can frack Uranium in the GRAND canyon.
Trump and the Russians can continue playing good cop-bad cop, while they arm the world.
The Russians can continue to push their faulty reactors and Mox everywhere in the world.
Trump and the republicans have several new reactor projects on the drawing board. They have deregulated the NRC and EPA. They have no intention of closing dangerous, old reactors in the United States.

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the interesting links. How can one combat the spread of the fatal virus of nuclearity?
ReplyDeleteAnd they say there are no lies, no alternative facts, no propaganda coming out of the Russian Media.
ReplyDeleteWant do you Think Majia?

I believe all knowledge is infused with politics. Most official news is deliberately propagandized (i.e., managed)to manage public opinion.
DeleteThanks majia. Me too. I think Japan is in a real mess. I have a friend in Chiba. She has cancer. Several families, who live in her neighborhood, have a family member or more that is mortally ill. It makes me so sad. Japan is fighting for its economic and political life.
ReplyDeleteIm so sorry to hear that. My heart breaks to hear that people are suffering
