Dead Fish in Fukushima:

Thousands of tons of dead fish have washed up on a beach in northern Japan, prompting speculation that the release of treated radioactive water from the Fukushima nuclear plant has wrought havoc on local ecosystems. The sardines and some mackerel washed ashore in Hakodate on Japan's northernmost main island of Hokkaido on Thursday morning, creating an unsettling sliver blanket that covered almost a mile of shoreline. Officials could not come up with an explanation for the phenomenon....
... In March 2011 the Fukushima power plant was wrecked after an earthquake and subsequent tsunami destroyed the plant's cooling systems, causing three reactors to melt.
This process sees tritium - a less harmful radioactive isotope - added to the contaminated water which is subsequently mixed with 'clean seawater', diluting the concentration of more harmful substances. Japanese officials maintain that the treated water is safe.
Could radionuclides from Fukushima's contaminated water be the cause of the dead fish?

TOKYO, Oct. 22, 2022 (Xinhua) -- The third batch of Fukushima nuclear-contaminated water to be released during Japan's next round of ocean discharge contains carbon-14, cobalt 60, strontium-90 and other radionuclides, according to pre-discharge test results released by the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO). Despite mounting concerns and opposition among local fishermen as well as from other countries, TEPCO said that preparations for the third round of ocean discharge will begin after the second round of discharge is completed and relevant maintenance and confirmation operations are carried out.
According to selected "experts" fears of contaminated water from Fukushima are scaremongering:
Skepticism over Japan’s plan to discharge water from the Fukushima nuclear plant must not give way to scaremongering.
However, when one considers the history of contaminated water accumulation and circulation, it is hard to believe there is no connection.
