I strongly recommend looking at this summary of results from a study of uranium contamination among people living in Port Hope, Ontario Canada:
Asaf Durakovic, Axel Gerdes, Isaac Zimmerman. (2017, August). The Quantitative Analysis of Uranium Isotopes in the Population of Port Hope, Ontario Canada. Uranium Medical Research Center - www.umrc.net 157 Carlton Street, Suite 206, Toronto, Ontario Canada M5A 2K3 Institute for Mineralogy, JW Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany http://umrc.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/The-Quantitative-Analysis-of-Uranium-Isotopes-in-the-Population-of-Port-Hope-Poster-Asaf-Durakovic-Axel-Gerdes-Isaac-Zimmerman-EANM-2007.pdf

The purpose of our study was the quantitative analysis of the internal contamination with four uranium isotopes in the population living near the uranium conversion facility in Port Hope, Ontario Canada.
