Earthquake Alerts in Nago Japan

I've been super busy and haven't been able to track the news very carefully but my earthquake alert app has indicated a series of 3 earthquakes in Okinawa Japan over the last 12 or so hours, with the largest one reported on my app as 5.9, although the USGS is reporting 5.6.

The US has an important military base in Okinawa where many weapons of mass destruction are stored:

Environmental Consequences
Weapons of mass destruction have been stored in Okinawa for long periods over the course of the last several decades, including chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. Leaks of chemical and biological weapons have damaged the environment. This has been reported many times. There have also been accidents involving nuclear weapons, causing death or injury to American soldiers there. The story about the nuclear weapons is just starting to come out. The Japanese government lied to its citizens about this.

Once again, we see how catastrophic risks are causally embedded in everyday infrastructures, which are vulnerable to disruptive shocks such as earthquakes, sustained power outages, and flooding.
