Fukushima Continues to Look "Smoggy"

The usually clear view during daytime hours is muddied by what looks like smog:

The bad "air quality" at Fukushima Daiichi has been building. No idea why other than the removal of melted fuel underway has stirred up some that is still very hot.

Can we rely on TEPCO, or the industry more generally, to warn us in the event of ongoing contamination? Perhaps not:

The government’s nuclear watchdog slammed Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s efforts as “unacceptable” in communicating with nuclear authorities during an emergency drill held at its Kashiwazaki-Kariwa nuclear plant.
TEPCO, operator of the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant, was among three utilities to receive the lowest of the three-level scores in terms of ability to share information expediently and accurately, the Nuclear Regulation Authority said July 25.

  1. So many earthquakes. Maybe the fogs are from damage by the earthquakes, that caused fires at the other fukushima behind daiichi. No way to tell.

Tepco is so dishonest. TEPCO IS so DELUSIONAL. They are cleaning up nothing. Just doing cosmetic stuff. They have lied every step of the way. From the beginning when they talked like daiichi could open again.

They use the bodies of teenagers, homeless, refugees to irradiate and do nothing! They are more concerned w selling radioactive souveniers from daiichi. They brag about building and opening, more reactors in eq plagued japan.

Tepco brags about having olympics in tokyo and by fukushima. It is nothing more than a massive con and filthy pr stunt to cover for this abominable ongoing catastrophe.

We know a fuel.pool.caught fire spewing uranium 134, cesium 137, stronium 90 from here to contaminate most of japan
