Slippery Slopes to Extinction

More problems with reactor re-starts in Japan:
Latest mishap at restarted Takahama reactor leaves Kansai Electric in the dark, The Asahi Shimbun, March 1, 2016, http://ajw.asahi.com/article/behind_news/social_affairs/AJ201603010066

Just three days after restarting, a reactor at the Takahama nuclear power plant came to a sudden halt when an automatic stop signal activated Feb. 29, the second recent incident that has local officials concerned.

The stoppage occurred in the No. 4 reactor at the plant in Takahama, Fukui Prefecture, in which radioactive water had been found leaking from a pipe on Feb. 20.

Radioactive material was not emitted in the latest mishap, according to Kansai Electric Power Co.
Meanwhile, conditions at Fukushima Daiichi haven't looked so good on TEPCO cam 1:

  1. Indian Point -- leaking for years. How many plants are? All? Plus the waste in many places. It would great to have a world map accurately indicating all the places known to be leaking. And some estimate of the amount. Do the bombs leak? And there are stores of DU. Then there is the already expended DU in places like Hawaii. Plus medical radioactive materials. Uranium mining sites . . . I suspect such a map would reveal a genuine on-going catastrophe. By 2100 how many humans will exist who do not have serious genetic damage who then have congenitally damaged children? We have moved far beyond the Atomic Cities of the 1950's.

  2. Very Scary William. Good post. The atomic cities. I do not think about that but, that was what was promised. That must be why places like New York City have Indian Point, and Boston, the Pilgrim nuke.

    1. Thanks. Someone today was telling me about the French nuclear power; apparently some environmentalists are enthusiastic. I know nothing about this supposedly wonderful nuclear project.

But, We the People, have to wake up, take back the sovereign control of our nations from the vassal leadership which Washington has discretely, almost imperceptibly placed at the helm of the 11 TPP and the 28 TTIP nations by stolen or manipulated elections or outright ‘regime change’. The breaking up of the Eurozone and the European Union – both of which are in dire straits – might be the beginning of a new era of self-determination." http://www.globalresearch.ca/genetically-modified-organisms-gmos-planned-sterilization-of-humanity/5511206
We can see from the above that there is something like a contest for which human tinkering will win by destroying the habitability of the planet.
