Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1: Destroyer of Clouds


Yesterday I watched Unit 1 destroy 2 clouds that dared float above the highly radioactive building:




Both clouds disappeared before they finished passage over the unit 1:

 

The building must be very, very hot. Unit 1 is among the reactors that TEPCO cannot find the fuel for despite conducting a muon test. The fuel is either splattered over earth or has sunk under the plant and abides in the underground river running beneath it.

Today the visible emissions are up again on all the cams and there is a police car parked in the Futaba intersection, which usually means Fukushima is posing problems:
