WSJ: "Fire at Nuclear Plant Called Serious Threat"

March 13 2012 The Wall Street Journal

"The June 7 fire at the Fort Calhoun nuclear plant, 19 miles north of Omaha, caused an electrical failure that knocked out pumps circulating water in a pool with spent nuclear fuel. In an investigation released Monday, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission said it classified the fire as a 'red' event, representing the highest level of safety threat tracked by the agency"

Majia here: This news report demonstrates that the NRC and power operators will lie straight out to the public when a nuclear threat is imminent.

I watched the Fort Calhoun plant flooding carefully over the summer.

Denial of any major problem at the plant was the name of the game.

Government authorities banned media reporters from coming close to the plant by boat or plane.

Now we learn that there was an electrical failure that could have caused a fire in a spent fuel pool.

Indeed, it may have caused a fire. Who knows.

It is clear that government authorities do not prioritize public health and welfare; instead, lies will be spun to keep the population from knowing the imminent risks posted to their health by our genocidal nuclear plants.

  1. Majia. You are doing great work. Your studies belong in "Project Censored." I've been out of the loop for a few years now at my age; but I'm going to see if I can make a connection. Thank you for working so hard on this and making such clear presentation and Communication!
