EPA Radnet Levels August 10

Using the graphs at Alexander Higgins Feed for EPA data

Much of the country is reporting lower levels (Hurray) but here are some data points for areas reporting high levels

Nebraska's readings in Lincoln and Omaha are above 100 CPM beta

Denver looks relatively high at around 150 beta

Carlsbad NM is extremely high at around 320 beta

Baltimore MD is very high at around 250 beta

Harrisonburg VA has been extraordinarily high (close to 800 beta), although it is now around 150

PEOPLE IN AREAS WITH HIGH READINGS SHOULD CONTACT THE EPA AND ASK WHY READINGS ARE HIGH

The EPA has an obligation to explain data.

GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY IS VITAL FOR DEMOCRACY

ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS NECESSARY FOR DEMOCRACY

Polluters will stop only if they are caught and public outrage ensues.

  1. Thanks for your updates! I agree, we should all contact them about the high readings, even if we don't live in that area! Lets see what they say.
