WHERE IS THIS RADIATION COMING FROM? IS IT THE JET STREAM? IS IT FORT CALHOUN? IS IT THE FLOODED NUCLEAR LAB IN PIERRE? IS IT SOME COMBINATION OF ABOVE?
Hi, I'm wondering the same thing?? I'm in the Mpls/St Paul area and our readings have been really high on the EPA lately. On July 23 CPM spiked to 224. It seems really bad on the hot humid days (which we've had a lot of). I've also been wondering if it's Fukushima or something more local? OR maybe both??
ReplyDelete224 is very, very high.
ReplyDeleteHopefully there was some sort of contamination and that this level is not actually occurring...
If levels are indeed spiking that high, they could be from Fukushima
and/or any releases from South Dakota's nuclear lab (which is probably flooded and is outside of Pierre--see my post http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/what-is-source-of-high-radiation.html)
and/or Fort Calhoun's emissions, which I believe are happening every 2 or 3 days.
I personally think all are implicated based on the radnet data patterns I'm seeing...
Thanks for all your great posts! I've been checking the EPA since March. Since they have changed their site I now go in thru the radnet data exchange and look at the hourly CPM counts. It is not getting any better & we are not being told, of course. It just blows my mind!
