Fracking is a direct consequence of
ReplyDeleteGlobalism. Another 10 trillion in national debt in the past eight years has kept the country out of a deep depression. Fracking equals money and jobs. It is similar to women selling hair in order to survive. Perhaps the Monsanto Protection Act is partly the same thing. Unfortunately nationalism which intends to rebuild America can not be too careful or choosy. We are in a cycle. Part of the "Great America" was ignoring the environment--pre 1970's the environment was rarely a factor. Now we have corrupted environmentalism. Surely no one believes that the Globalists care about human lives of which they believe there are way too many. So what is a little toxicity here and there, now and then?
Trump has investments in fracking. No lies pleas
ReplyDeleteBe specific regarding lies. You seem intent on attacking but generally are low on actual data. Yes, everyone but you and a few of your friends are simply bad people it would seem. Lots of bad luck for the saints.
DeleteBe honest. No propaganda please. Naked corporatists like trump and his propagandist handlers cherry pick about the types of globalism they can to help them and the parts of it they can use as propaganda tools. Trump supports many aspects of globalism. Trump also supports Monsanto and GMOs. If you don't like globalism good but don't use lies to justify your disingenuous positions
ReplyDeleteI should probably not respond to you and won't in the future.
DeleteWhat propaganda are you referring to? and who is not being honest? I would be interested in Trump supporting GMO's--maybe you could include references in the future?
Here is an entry from Wikileaks: "Stein's financial disclosure, filed in March 2016, indicated that she maintained investments of as much as $8.5 million, including mutual or index funds that included holdings in industries that she had previously criticized, such as energy, financial, pharmaceutical, tobacco, and defense contractors.[62] In response to questions about her finances, Stein said in part: "Sadly, most of these broad investments are as compromised as the American economy—degraded as it is by the fossil fuel, defense and finance industries",[62] and later characterized the article as a "smear attack" against her.[63]" Of course Jill Stein could be invested in all sorts of other things. But she attempts to blame it on a vague phenomenon of some sort. The truth is that persons with the kind of money she has want to hold on to it even if it seems to violate their ethical position.
ReplyDeleteWow attacking Majia, a Jill stein supporter and Jill stein on Majias blog.
ReplyDeleteThe issue is that Jill Stein is being hypocritical in attacking various activities that she herself is deeply financially involved in. I just started researching her and have found all sorts of things such as she is a Chicago person whose Jewish parents were avowed Communists, friends of Bill Ayers, etc. Very little of this came out until she became an aficionado of recounts. I even recommended her to Bernie people. But now I think she has been very deceptive and is not an honest person. The pharmaceuticals are among the dirtiest corporations on the planet and do a great deal of harm like Gardasil, statins, psychiatric medications, etc. As an MD she knows this.
DeleteWhen it comes to what counts most, money, she is like most other well to do people! This has nothing to do with this site. In my opinion Jill is an opportunist who became an environmentalist not out of any deep love of nature but because she saw it as a route to power. Find evidence to disprove the above but do not just make deprecating remarks.
Smearing the politician most stridently opposed globalism, nuclear power, unchecked corporate pollution, nuclear proliferation, and american intervention in syria must really get your jolleys off William. Attacking Jill Stein, who is the most opposed to GMOs and pharmaceutical malfeasance in america today and would take genuine measures to do something about these issues, must make you feel pretty good William. I forgot she is the feminine opposition of your preordained authoritarian state and women's voices do not count.
ReplyDeleteTalk is cheap. I am not impressed by strident speeches.
DeleteYou post to smear and propagandize as a political operative would.

ReplyDeleteEcological Conversion
Ecological Production: Set goals and timetables to phase out and ban the production and release of synthetic chemicals and to convert all production to materials that are bio-degradable, bio-inert, or confined to closed-loop industrial cycles. Use federal investments, purchasing, mandates, and incentives to:
Phase out most chlorinated and other synthetic petrochemicals and phase in natural, biodegradable substitutes.
Phase out synthetic fertilizers and pesticides and phase in organic agriculture.
Shut down waste incinerators, phase out landfills, and phase in full recycling.
Require manufacturers to be responsible for the whole life cycle of their products by taking back used packaging and products for re-manufacturing, reuse, or recycling.
Legalize industrial hemp as an ecological source for wood pulp, paper, cloth, lubricants, fibers, and many other products.
Renewable Energy: Invest non-renewable energy sources in the creation of self-reproducing, renewable energy systems. Use federal investments, purchasing, mandates, and incentives to:
Shut down nuclear power plants.
Phase out fossil fuels and phase in clean renewable energy sources.
Reduce auto-based transportation and expand pedestrian, bicycle, and rail transportation.
Biotechnology-No Patents on Life; No Transgenic Organisms:
Ban patents on life forms in order to preserve genetic diversity and common access to our common inheritance of nature, including farmers' access to seeds and breeds.
Ban the release into the environment and the use in food production of genetically modified organisms that result from splicing the genes of one species into another.
Environmental Defense and Restoration:
Full funding for anti-pollution enforcement and toxic sites clean-up
Preserve ecosystems and biodiversity by strengthening the Endangered Species Act and expanding areas designated as wildlife refuges and wilderness areas.
Ban old-growth logging, clear cutting, and strip mining.
End all commercial exploitation of public lands by private timber, mining, and cattle grazing interests.
Ban off-road vehicles on federal lands. Decommission National Forest logging roads.
Restoration of public lands degraded by commercial interests.
Manage federal lands primarily for ecosystem protection and restoration.
Support large-scale ecological restoration based on conservation biology.
Environmental Justice: Strengthen and enforce laws that prevent toxic industries, toxic dumps and air pollution from targeting ethnic minority communities.
A Just Transition: A Superfund for Workers to guarantee full income and benefits for all workers displaced by ecological conversion until they find new jobs with comparable income and benefits

http://whowhatwhy.org/2016/12/01/take-fix-voting-system-isnt-anybody/
Bev Harris of Black Box Voting, a non-partisan organization seeking to preserve the integrity of the election process, advocates a three-step solution. She sees it as a “process that enables (1) the public to get immediate online access to a picture of every ballot; (2) the public to inspect actual physical ballots upon request, under freedom of information laws; and (3) a method of pegging ballot images to actual ballots, such as a unique ID number on each ballot/ballot image to tie them together.”
Stark, the Berkeley professor, also believes that “the key to easily auditable elections is for the voting system to report how it interpreted each ballot, in a way that can be tied back to that ballot, so that can be spot-checked at random for accuracy.”
So much opinion. What happened to fukushima and how dangerous nuclear reactors are?
ReplyDeleteJill Stein’s Ideology Says One Thing—Her Investment Portfolio Says Another
ReplyDelete'Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein has largely based her campaign on her uncompromising positions on the environment, opposition to big banks and Wall Street, defense contractors, and the pharmaceutical industry. But an analysis of her financial disclosures, which she was required to file as a presidential candidate, show she is heavily invested in the very industries that she maligns the most and as a result of her investments, she has built significant wealth.'
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/10/26/jill-stein-s-ideology-says-one-thing-her-investment-portfolio-says-another.html
So, Anon, while you may be okay about this sort of duplicity I am not. As I mentioned I originally assumed that the Green Party would carefully vet their presidential candidate if for no other reason than to avoid embarrassment. But apparently not. There is more stuff that will come out if she continues her recounts, which will be perhaps even more unsavory. It is a rare person that has money and status and a clean record. Something about the acquisition of power and wealth that corrupts even fairly decent people. One thing is clear Jill Stein is politically naive. Greem Jill's excuse for her investments: "Sadly, most of these broad investments are as compromised as the American economy—degraded as it is by the fossil fuel, defense and finance industries". Not her fault but that of fossil fuel, defense and finance. She is a victim. I happen to belong to a credit union that selects investments carefully so one does not end up in the Green Jill fix. I am sure even in Massachusetts one could locate such a resource if it were a priority. Perhaps she owns a cat or a dog that made her do it?
Smearing Jill stein does not impress most people who are concerned about nuclear power, Fukushima, GMOs and pollution. The new president of Austria is a green by the way.
ReplyDeleteGiven Jill Stein's willingness to invest carelessly from an environmental point of view what else will we find out? She is almost certainly a globalist and a Zionist. She supports Climate Change which after twenty some years of investigation I can not find real verification for. She has very dirty hands in my opinion. As for nuclear power and Fukushima this is an international problem which needs an international solution. There is so much money at stake that protests, etc. are of negligible value. At what point will Japan and Tepco be forced to tell the truth? Meanwhile Americans have allowed themselves to become enmeshed in sexism, racism, etc. These perfectly defend things like nuclear power. They are endless and wonderful distractions from real issues like jobs. Green Jill has way more money than she needs and yet wants more. And she does not mind putting coal miners out of work and others who are relatively poor and struggling to raise families in order to indulge her hobbies. What a terrible leader who does not lead by example! Revealing the truth about a fake is not smearing her. Most of the environmental groups end up bought by the billionaires and their non profits.
DeleteWhy don't you become a green billy and caucus against Dr. Stein? You say you are genuinely concerned about pharmaceutical company abuses, pesticides and GMOs.
ReplyDeleteYou know this is a waste of time, Anon.

ReplyDeleteAnon, are you one or many? You need a name. Personally I prefer someone like Kellyanne Conway. I get a very unpleasant feeling from Green(with envy?)Stein. Her head is constantly bobbing as though it were being pulled by a puppeteer. And at her age her flirty style is unseemly. She lacks dignity and poise. Important qualities in a leader. You might want to acquaint yourself with a wider range of people. Green Jill is a fraud in my opinion who preys on malcontents like yourself. Do you have a pet? A cat? Or are you allergic to animals and plants? Anyway work on getting yourself a name. Cassius might suit you.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am waiting on your response to the article on Jill's investments. Of course you may not be a serious person in which case I am foolish to wait on such a thing.

ReplyDeleteChristmas At Ground Zero Lyrics
New! Tap highlighted lyrics to add Meanings, Special Memories, and Misheard Lyrics...
It's Christmas at ground zero
There's music in the air
The sleigh bells are ringing and the carolers are singing
While the air raid sirens blare
It's Christmas at ground zero
The button has been pressed
The radio just let us know that this is not a test
Everywhere the atom bombs are dropping
It's the end of all humanity
No more time for last minute shopping
It's time to meet your final destiny
It's Christmas at ground zero
There's panic in the crowd
While we dodge debris let's trim the tree
Underneath the mushroom cloud
You might hear some reindeer on your rooftop
Or Jack Frost on your windowsill
But if someone's climbing down your chimney
You better load your gun and shoot to kill
It's Christmas at ground zero
And if the radiation levels OK
I'll go out with you and see all the new
Mutations on New Year's Day
It's Christmas at ground zero
Just seconds left to go
I'll duck and cover with my Yuletide lover
Underneath the mistletoe
It's Christmas at ground zero
Now the missiles are on their way
What a crazy fluke we're gonna get nuked
On this jolly holiday
What a crazy fluke we're gonna get nuked
On this jolly holiday
So you are incapable of a rational discussion or debate; or you just have no familiarity with those activities? Because tossing out insults and doing things to avoid what you are being confronted with necessitates retreat into your safe space? I am sure you can read--but reading the article which details Stein's perfidious investments will be just too painful? it will destroy your image of Stein? This is the problem I have with many liberals is that they are not well educated, lack courage, believe emotion is the same as arguments, simply repeat what others have said if they have a decent memory . . . ? All of which prove to me that liberal no longer bears any resemblance to what it once meant but has been purloined by some very strange people! like you. In fact through out the internet I encounter Liberals and Progressives who seem to be unable to bring forth their positions and defend it. And I am a classical liberal and a traditionalist. Post modernists have a position which reminds me of a person who has taken LSD and has trouble reconciling his LSD experience with his other experiences. And believes one set has to be abandoned.
