Zerohedge is reporting that Turkey is firing all of its university deans as part of a wider crackdown in the wake of the failed coup attempt:

Turkey's Board of Higher Education has requested the resignations of all 1,577 university deans, effectively dismissing them.

You know a purge is occurring when academics are targeted. The press is next, if they've not already been purged.
