Earlier today I posted a link warning of a ongoing disaster alert for Fukushima.
I have no way of verifying or dis-confirming this report.
THE ONLY REASON I am concerned about the alert is because of some reports of spiking radiation levels in the US.
So, I've gone over Fukushima Diary's last few weeks of reports looking for verifiable data that might indicate some change at the plant.
What I mean by verifiable data are government and Tepco reports. I know that these two sources of information are not to be trusted. However, data they do provide can be instructive, even when it is censored and/or framed.
I've found reports of problems with unit 1, detections of iodine-131 (which indicate recent fissioning), and reports of spiking radiation levels in Japan.
So, these are the reports I've found at Fukushima Diary that offer some evidence for an event at the plant:
Temperature picked up in reactor1 again Posted by Mochizuki on October 1st, 2012
Iodine 131 measured from sewage sludge in Kumamoto Posted by Mochizuki on October 2nd, 2012
