LETTER TO SENATOR JOHN KYL, THE ONLY US OFFICIAL TO RESPOND TO MY COMMUNICATIONS

Dear Senator Kyl
Thank you very much for taking the time for my correspondence.
I respectfully disagree with the EPA that radiation levels in the US are not a risk.
The French organization CEREA, joint laboratory École des Ponts ParisTech and EdF R&D has produced a map (with Victor Winiarek, Marc Bocquet Yelva Roustan, Camille Birman, Pierre Tran). The map can be found here http://cerea.enpc.fr/en/fukushima.html
The map shows greater concentrations of cesium-deposition from Fukushima on the US west coast as compared to western Japan.
Furthermore, the EPA’s Radnet shows cities in the US including Harrisburgh Virginia, Amarillo Texas, and Carlsbad New Mexico that have had radiation readings as high as 800 beta in July and August.
Fukushima is still producing radiation and Japan is now incinerating radioactive debris.
I was fortunate to find an EPA Emergency Response protocol for emergency responders in chemical and radiological emergencies. http://www.rrt5.org/acp/docs/App6_AirMonitoringGuidelines.pdf
That document states that emergency responders need to consult with health physicist at 3X background, which is between 30 and 60 counts per minute (CPM) beta, and need to take protective action at 300CPM beta.
Senator Kyle we have cities across the US that are routinely posting radiation levels in excess of 300CPM beta on the EPA’s Radnet.
Senator Kyle I beg you to demand some accountability and transparency with respect to this ongoing disaster in Japan.
The U.S. government needs to make health advisories in the event of high radiation levels in the air in the same way that ozone warnings are made.
The U.S. government needs to monitor food and drinking water to ensure levels are safe. Testing needs to be more frequent and more comprehensive. Current levels of testing are inadequate.
The US government must pressure the Japanese to halt incineration of radioactive debris.
The US government must help Japan deal with the human tragedy occurring in Japan by assisting in whatever way possible in containing Fukushima radiation, expanding evacuations, and testing food and water.
Humanity itself is at risk as the levels of radiation being released are unprecedented and will slowly poison us generation by generation until we have lost our vitality as a species.
You are my only hope. You are the only government official who has responded to my communications. Please, please, do whatever is possible to help save us from the terrible DNA destroying effects of Fukushima.
Sincerely,

Majia
