New Mexico Radnet

I think it interesting that radnet was down yesterday (at least, every time I tried to get in it was down) and today Albuquerque is posting 135 beta (this morning).

This relatively high level is unlikely to be from Fukushima because the jet stream is now very far north. The Jet Stream is the vehicle for delivery of Fukushima fallout.

So, the Jet Stream is unlikely to be the source of this relatively high beta reading in New Mexico.

My bet is that radiation levels in Albuquerque are higher than normal because of the Los Alamos fire.
