How Accurate Were the Public Forecasts of Iodine Contamination Over the US and Europe?

Global Cooperative Blog has produced some very strong and provocative analyses. The latest analysis at this blog compares the public forecasts of radiation dispersion publicized by the Norwegian Institute for Air Research with the private forecasts known as the Zardoz files, located at the same institute.

I know for a fact that the radiation levels reported by the EPA in Arizona were censored so that high readings were not reported. I cannot name my source, but I assure you this is true. I do not know how high the levels got, just that the highest readings were suppressed.

Therefore, I find it not at all surprising that the Zardoz files, showing up to 100X more radiation contamination, are more likely accurate than the public forecasts. I recommend reading Global Cooperative's analysis.

The logic driving censorship of the extent of radiation contamination is the same logic employed by nearly all polluters. It is easy for polluters to deceive and deny because most environmental hazards take years to show up in the body in the form of cancers and other injuries.

We now have reports that Japanese authorities reportedly moved decimal points 3 levels in order to minimize the appearance of radiation contamination.

I doubt Japan acted alone in this conspiracy....

"...Former Minister Internal Affairs Haraguchi Kazuhiro has alleged that radiation monitoring station data was actually three decimal places greater than the numbers released to the public. If this is true, it constitutes a 'national crime'...."
