Kearney Nebraska is due west of Omaha and Lincoln
If this radiation was coming from Fukushima one would expect that Kearney NE would have the same general levels as Omaha and Lincoln, although the Jet Stream does have little currents that impact some areas more than others (for instance, Phoenix gets much more radiation from Fukushima than Tucson)
The levels I reported this morning from radnet were lower than what I am reporting now.
I've noted a pattern where levels are usually lower in the morning. So, why are they so high now in Omaha and Lincoln?
I think people near Fort Calhoun and Fort Cooper need to pay attention to radnet data and need to try and find out if these plants are releasing radiation.
I see no current reports of unsual events at nuclear plants; however, there exists a pretty complete media blackout on Fort Calhoun and Fort Cooper so I would not trust the media nor public authorities for information where public safety is concerned
